For Artifact, the female dolls are all completed, futa pending, and male dolls are now underway. I will post a preview this week! I was doing dolls + NPCs for a while, but this month I’m desperately trying to just get these dolls done and out of the way so we can go back to focusing on the characters. I have also been reworking the UI format for NPC interactions, changing the way that Infest works, and further standardizing certain stat changes.
I would like to take a moment to again thank all of you for your support. This past week has hit me pretty hard, I hope you don’t mind if I get a little more personal with this post.
As some of you may know, this past week I was supposed to have a sort of family road trip this spring break. Despite taking my car in 2 days before we left with no issues, our 12v battery spontaneously died on us effectively in the middle of nowhere, halfway to our destination.
We had to get towed over 50 miles out of our way to get it fixed under warranty, but since it died mid-day on a Friday, it wasn’t going to be fixed for days. Almost immediately, our road trip was demoted from a week-long relaxing cruise through the other side of the country to just making sure my stepdaughter gets there to spend any time at all with her family.
In and of itself, this sucks, but to boot it set off a chain of other sheer bad luck events in which a lot of life lessons were learned. I won’t go into further detail because this post would become ridiculously long. At one point a gas station employee asked me how my day was and I’m pretty sure I just broke out into maniacal laughter before apologizing and seeing myself out.
A few unplanned Uber trips, hotel stays, car rentals, and about 20+ hours worth of unplanned gas expenses, and now I’m back at my computer! I am so thankful for all of you! You have all helped me a ton. I’m catching up on my rest and about ready to lock myself in my office to make up for lost time.
